2024 applications now being accepted

The San Rocco Foundation is excited to offer a scholarship every calendar year for a high school senior. The new term opens back up every February of the next calendar year.
Any interested senior is asked to (work with their Guidance office ) submit the application below. The application and essay are reviewed on grades, high school activities, community involvement and content and grammar of the submission packet.
One recipient is chosen each year by an impartial committee. Money is sent directly to the college/trade school (account) of said winner.
Applications are due by April 1. Winner will be announced at the 2024 Celebration, held in August. Please have your application and essay POSTMARKED by APRIL 1. NO EMAIL applications will be accepted. Mailing information is on the application.

2019: Emma Johnson, Newberry College. She is set to graduate in 2023 with a BA in Healthcare Management and a minor in Accounting. She plans to continue her education towards an MBA in nursing administration.
2018: Nicole Morrison, Youngstown State University
2017: Corey Patterson, Pratt Institute
2016: Kristian Biega, Mercyhurst University. Graduated in 2020 with a BA in English and Marketing. Furthered her education with an MS at Pitt in 2021, and currently works as Marketing Coordinator at Mercyhurst University.
2015: Christopher Moorman, Coastal Carolina University. Graduated in 2018 with a BS in Marine Science and minor in Biology. Currently working for MPXL as a Chemist.
2014: Ryan Biggins, Lehigh University
2013: Zachary Patterson, University of Pittsburgh. Gradated a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering in 2017. He recently completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He'll be working as a postdoctoral researcher in robotics at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab.
